Bennath 10th

-I’m not sure what is going on.
Palkeera has suddenly given me a list of things to do, to make, that don’t seem to try into anything in particular. A new quilt, the best I can make.  A set of vestments, also the best I can make. Several religious samplers.  Candles, in several colors. The mattress won’t be too difficult, I just need to find the materials to stuff it with. I’m guessing that hay is not a viable option, given the notes Palkeera left on the list about meticulous details.

I also have to make a set of robes for myself, one that will match the headdress that Palkeera bought for me. I’m not allowed to wear the headdress, Palkeera said that it is important and I’ll just get to playing around with it and it’ll end up broken.
The samplers have to be done first. I went out and bought the linen and colored thread to start those today. I have to pick a couple meaningful phrases and stitch them neatly on the cloth or else. Palkeera is never this strict. I don’t understand what is going on, and Palkeera won’t talk about it, so I’m a little scared right now.

I wonder if this has anything to do with our trip in a couple weeks. I guess I’m making decorations for the new temple or something.

Enakhra has a kitten in her room. It goes directly against the School’s strict No-Pet Policy. If Azzanadra finds out, he is going to be mad. I’m not allowed to talk about it, lest I attract unwanted attention to it.

Enakhra is stubborn, though. If she plants her heels and refuses to budge, Azzanadra is likely to just throw his hands up and let her keep the kitten rather than try to reason with her. It’s not that she is unreasonable, it seems to be that no one is willing to tangle with her when she gets in that state. I’m not sure if she does that on purpose or not. I think it might have been an unconscious thing at first, but then she weaponized it from there. I like Enakhra quite a lot, but she does have a bit of a nasty streak running through her.

The kitten is red with long fur on his tail. He is prone to attacking without warning and not coming when called. Mahjarr-cat.
