Rintra 34th

-Azzanadra has determined the students responsible for the ‘incident’, as he called it. Among other punishments, he has stripped them of their dorm room privileges. They are to sleep on bedrolls in the dorm hallway, away from the fires that keep the rooms warm, for a whole week and are on kitchen duty for a month. They are also stripped of their weekly stipend until a time that Azzanadra sees fit to return it. Additionally, Chunchi, my best friend/worst adversary, the one who actually spiked my food with poison, has been put on latrine duty for no less than two months.

Azzanadra called all the students together into the Grand Temple today to issue the statement that poisonings between students is ‘Profoundly Unacceptable’. I attended the meeting under Palkeera’s watchful eye. Azzanadra stressed that he could not believe that we would be so insensible as to need him to pass a new rule just to protect us from ourselves. From now on, if any more poisonings do happen, ‘to impress upon the severity of such transgressions, at any new occurrence, the transgressor or transgressors will face expulsion’. He told us that he was very disappointed by our behavior and that he had expected, hoped for, better from students that attended such a prestigious Temple School. After the meeting Palkeera whisked me away, back to her office through a sea of quiet, listless students. Everyone looks up to Azzanadra, it hurts to hear him say that we let him down.

Palkeera has me on bedrest right now, even though I don’t need it, and has forbidden me from leaving her office. So I have no choice but to lay here and be bored. There are exactly 82 ancient journals sitting on the shelves closest to Palkeera’s desk. 164 pieces of stained glass in the window. 13 different maps of the heavens on the walls. This is what I’ve been reduced to.
Enakhra came by a couple times to keep me company, or rather to make sure I haven’t left, while my Mentor is teaching classes. We talked for a while before I asked her to tell me a story. She bestowed upon me the graphic account of the time she had beaten a Chelon-Mah man to death with her bare hands back on Frenesake.

I’m not going to ask her for stories anymore.
It always hurts to let someone you admire be disappointed in you.

:>-NOTE-<: The lorefails. There WILL be lorefails in this series. Please remember that this is a fanfiction and touches on many subjects either very loosely mentioned or not mentioned at all in the game. Assumptions will be made.
