Septober 6th

-I saw Char today, but she did not see me. The reason for this, of course, is that I spent the entire day trapped in the Shadow Realm.
Sometimes Sliske does these little things that he thinks to be very funny. Not too long ago he put pigs wearing crowns in Azzanadra’s office. The mess was extraordinary. Azzanadra was beyond furious. I thought there was going to be a fight, especially when Sliske showed up with a piglet in Pontifex robes.
Today, due to my misplaced trust, I ended up being dragged into the Shadow Realm with Sliske, who then abandoned me with a laugh to wander about alone. No one could see me, no one could hear me. It was worse than being a ghost. I spent much of the day just going from place to place, checking to see if anyone could notice and help me. No one did.

Char seems to be getting ready for some mission in the West, far away from Senntisten. I wished her luck and the Great Lord’s blessing, but she did not see me in the Shadow Realm, so my words echoed in the emptiness instead.
Char quickly went over her itinerary with Azzanadra before leaving to go prepare. I thought for sure that at least Azzanadra would notice me, but he failed to even glance.

Virtus visited the Temple today. Even though he is a old man now, Virtus still commands respect from all who see him. He has this presence that chills and silences all nearby. When he steps forward, one steps back in deference, head down. I have no doubt that he could still win in a confrontation with anyone half his age or otherwise. It is a fool who challenges the respected Virtus.
He came in today with his young grandson, the boy carrying a Holy Book that was almost half as big as he was in one arm while clutching the leash of a hellhound in his other hand. The elder did not have to speak, there is not a word that can say as much as his actions do. The hall had gone quiet and parted easily to let Virtus through with his grandson and dog.
At one point, Virtus looked right at me. For a moment I wondered if he could see me in the Shadow Realm. His eyes, though aged, still seem so sharp and critical. They narrowed at me, but then he continued on.
I guess he did not see me after all.

Trapped in the Shadow Realm with no way out on my own, I had decided to go ahead and attend my classes. I did not have any of my supplies with me, so I could not take notes, but I still went to my lectures.
I spent the whole day drifting invisibly from class to class until Palkeera came looking for me in the Shadow Realm. She seemed a bit surprised to find me where she did, but quite pleased that I had gone to my classes despite my predicament.
Sliske is a pain, but what are you going to do about it?

To be honest, I would still go to my classes if I got myself stuck in the shadow realm as well. :D

Can't wait for the next chapter!
